As we welcome the New Year, we began it with Kakizome, the traditional first calligraphy of the year.
Kakizome is a special custom where we put our wishes and intentions for the year into a single character.

Rio chose the character “哲 (Tetsu)”, which represents philosophy, wisdom, and thinking deeply about life and the world around us.

Aya chose the character “和 (Wa)”, meaning harmony, the Japanese spirit, gentleness, and living in balance with others.

With these thoughts in our hearts, we hope to make this year a calm, meaningful, and fulfilling one.
We truly appreciate your continued support and look forward to another wonderful year together.

新しい年を迎え、今年も書き初めをしました。
書き初めは、新年最初に筆をとり、その年の想いを込めて書く大切な時間です。

ヒゲちゃんが選んだ一文字は「哲」。
物事を深く考え、学び、知恵をもって進んでいく——そんな意味が込められています。

あやちゃんが選んだ一文字は「和」。
調和、和やかさ、和の心、そして日本らしい美しさを大切にしながら過ごしたいという想いです。

それぞれの想いを胸に、今年も穏やかで実りある一年にしていきたいと思います。
