茶と香の会

パリを拠点に国内外で活動する茶人 今泉勝仁さんをお招きし、奈良 翠門亭にて、お茶とお香の会をひらきます。

「お茶を中心に様々な人やものたちと優しく手を取り合えたら」
という思いのもと、Through The Tea を主宰する今泉さん。

前職の同僚でもある彼と、今回初めて日本にて、お茶とお香の会を共催します。
静かに湯が沸き、香が立ちのぼり、感覚がひらいていくひととき。

大正時代に建てられた数寄屋建築・翠門亭という場で、
お茶とお香が響きあう時間を、どうぞご一緒にお楽しみください。

翠門亭の隣に今年オープンしたkal。伝統的な日本のお香や蝋燭を中心に世界各地で集めてきたアンティークが展示販売されています。また、世界の香り文化をテーマにワークショップも毎月実施しています。

Tea and koh session

We are honored to invite tea master Katsuhito Imaizumi, who works over the world, to host a tea and koh (fragrance) session at Suimontei in Nara.

Imaizumi, who organizes the "Through The Tea" he wish to bring people and various elements together through tea.
He is my former colleague in Paris so we had organized this type event several times, but this is first time for us to do tea and koh session in Japan.
We invite you to experience the harmonious interplay of tea and koh at the Suimontei, a renowned Taisho-era sukiya-style architectural masterpiece.
