今回はフェスティブシーズンを彩る「シュトーレン」をご紹介いたします。シュトーレンはクリスマスを迎える4週間前から一切れずつ食べ始める習わしのある伝統的なお菓子。
ザ・キャピトルホテル 東急のシュトーレンはラムの貴婦人と言われるネグリタラムやブランデーに1年以上漬け込んだレーズンとミックスフルーツがたっぷり入った大人な味わいに仕上がっています。しっとりと焼き上げた後、澄ましバターに浸し香り高いバニラシュガーでコーティングしています。4か月以上熟成させた深くまろやかな味わいと香りをお楽しみいただけるクリスマスに相応しい一品です。

With only two months left in 2023 and the holiday season fast approaching, we’d like to introduce you to the festive flavour of Stollen – a traditional German Christmas treat made with nuts, spices and candied fruit. Traditionally eaten in the four weeks running up to Christmas, our stollen has a rich, mature flavour, with plenty of Negrita rum, raisins and mixed fruits soaked in brandy for over a year. After baking, our deliciously moist stollen – matured over four months to achieve a deep mellow taste and aroma – is dipped in clarified butter and coated with fragrant vanilla sugar for that decadent finishing touch. No Christmas would be complete without stollen – so complete yours with our special taste of the season.
